Democracy is a system of government to run the affairs of state. “Democracy is a government by the people for the people of the people” said Abraham lincon. Today in most of the countries type of government is democracy. India is the biggest democratic country. In Pakistan we also having democratic system, unfortunately in the history of Pakistan our democratic government first time complete its period. It has been almost 66 years that Pakistan came in existence but half of this period we have military government in our country. Which let not be stable the democratic roots in territory. In democracy simple majority of people makes the government. In general election people cast their votes for their candidate in their area. Which candidate get more votes, will be the elected representative of specific area in national or provincial assembly. Democracy is the most famous type of government in world.
