11 Jan Lahore my city!
My home town is Lahore and it is situated in Pakistan the Heart of South East Asia and a place to live and practice your values and religion and most importantly I am going to love writing about it.
Lahore is my city, a place where I have born and grown up, a place where I had spend my summers playing cricket for hours with friends and cousins when there was no limit of time and no use of cell phones when everybody was so much relaxed and satisfied.
Lahore is also the city of my ancestors; as they have migrated here and lived here since Pakistan came into being and spend their whole lives here. I remember the time when I used to go to my grandmother’s house where my grandfather took us to a fishpond and he used to tell us stories about his fishing.
The culture of Lahore is so much enrich and pure that you could actually feel the ambience of it. This city is also famous for its Punjabi style foods and also the food lovers here, it is also famous for its popular festivals like Basant-the kite flying which is celebrated every year in the February and also the start of spring season. The National horse and cattle show also held every year with its full boom. Not to forget about the world performing arts festival which take place at Al-Hamra arts complex with so much cultural presence in it.
Have to mention about its schools and colleges like Atchison college, King Edward medical college and NCA(National college of arts) which are producing thousands of Doctors,Engineers and other leading Artists in not only Pakistan but all over the world.
Among many famous and traditional places Lahore also has Mughal fort and Mosque here which has a clear picture of our tradition and culture. We have inherited it and many tourists came here to see it.
In the end I would say that my Hometown has so much to offer for everyone that hardly nobody can’t wait to come here.
